Diagnóstico por TC del Sindrome de Bouveret

Resumen

El Síndrome de Bouveret es una forma infrecuente de íleo biliar, en el que la existencia de una fístula bilioentérica permite el paso de la litiasis al duodeno, impactándose a ese nivel y produciendo una obstrucción intestinal alta. Presentamos el caso de mujer diagnosticada de éste síndrome tras la realización de un TC abdominopélvico y realizamos revisión del tema y de las pruebas de imagen más útiles para su detección.

Bouveret syndrome is a rare form of gallstone ileus, in which the existence of a bilioenteric fistula allows the passage of stones into the duodenum, impacting at that level and causing a high intestinal obstruction. We report the case of a woman diagnosed with this syndrome after performing an abdominopelvic CT scan. We review this subject and the most useful imaging tests for detection.
